Overview
OnSite Partners is seeking a dedicated Control Room Operator to oversee and manage a diversified energy portfolio from our 24/7 operations center. This position is responsible for real-time monitoring, analysis, and operational coordination across distributed energy resources, stationary power generation, storage solutions, and other industrial power systems. The operator ensures safe, reliable, and optimized asset performance through continuous system oversight, procedural execution, accurate documentation, and effective communication with field and technical teams. This role reports to the Security and ROC Manager.
Responsibilities
• System Monitoring: Monitor and analyze real-time data streams from industrial power systems using SCADA and remote monitoring tools.
• Incident Response: Identify and promptly respond to alarms, alerts, and anomalies to minimize downtime and maximize operational performance.
• Operational Support: Support established operating procedures and assist in identifying opportunities for workflow or monitoring process improvements.
• Field & Technical Coordination: Collaborate with field technicians, engineers, and system operators to coordinate maintenance activities, dispatch system operators for physical response when required, and resolve equipment or site-level issues.
• Documentation & Logging: Maintain accurate, detailed records of events, actions, and outcomes in both logbooks and digital reporting systems.
• Reporting: Prepare routine status and performance reports on production, downtime, and outages in accordance with internal standards.
• Continuity & Handovers: Provide timely and clear status updates during shift handovers to ensure seamless continuity.
• Weather & Safety Monitoring: Monitor weather conditions affecting project sites and apply appropriate operational procedures to ensure personnel and equipment safety.
Skills and Experience

Other Expectations
This position supports a 24/7/365 mission-critical operations center. Operators are required to work 12-hour shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. All scheduled time off must be requested in advance and will only be approved when full shift coverage is secured by another qualified Control Room Operator. To ensure continuous operations, operators are expected to provide shift coverage for one another as needed.
