Warren Equipment is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring all plant equipment and machinery are running efficiently to support production goals. If you have strong mechanical and electrical skills and enjoy troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment, we want you on our team!
Your Role:
Diagnose and repair malfunctions on plant industrial equipment, including brake presses, plasma tables, lasers, saws, welding equipment, cutting torches, air tools, forklifts, and cranes.
Troubleshoot and repair basic relay control circuits and motor starters, with knowledge of up to 480-volt 3-phase electrical systems.
Implement preventive maintenance plans and provide feedback to prevent future malfunctions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and complete administrative duties in a timely manner.
Identify and correct any unsafe working conditions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures outlined in the Warren Handbook.
Participate in a collaborative team atmosphere to support company goals.
Qualifications:
GED or equivalent industry experience required; technical school, military, or junior college maintenance education preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role.
Basic mechanical abilities required, with the ability to set up and operate production equipment, including lathes, grinders, drills, shears, brake presses, cutting torches, and welding equipment preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
Work primarily in a shop setting, with occasional time spent in an office environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time position requiring punctuality and readiness to work daily. We are currently working 50 hour weeks with some mandatory overtime required.
Business hours are determined by the manager, with occasional mandatory overtime as needed.
