We currently have a career opportunity for a caring, purpose-driven Record Technician who will take great pride in creating truly extraordinary patient experiences while delivering and supporting the highest quality dental care.

The Records Technician is primarily responsible for obtaining accurate diagnostic records utilized by the Doctors to diagnose and create a treatment plan for all new patients and recall visits. This position is also responsible for setting the dental chair up for patient procedures, as well as the sterilization of instruments and cleanup of the dental chair after patient care. These duties are critical to help the clinical team be efficient and provide the best possible patient care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Take diagnostic records for the patients including photos, panoramic x-rays, cephalometric x-rays, and 3D digital iTero scans of patients' teeth.
• Preparation of the clinic for each procedure by reviewing patient notes and understanding what procedures will be provided, and then prepare the instruments to be used.
• Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment according to established orthodontic guidelines and compliance with OSHA, CDC and ADA standards.
• Maintain a clean work area near the x-ray machines, sterilization area and all workstations.
• Support the clinical team in various ways needed to achieve outstanding patient satisfaction.

• Monday - Friday 7:55AM - 5:00PM

Position Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Dental care experience is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency to operate software-based dental charts and imaging system.
• Must be able to sit, stand and move quickly about an office for moderate periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
