Reporting to the Vice President and Dean of Student Affairs, the Director serves as a key member of the Student Affairs leadership team, leading co-curricular engagement efforts that advance student success and bring the University's Strategic Plan to life. This position requires a visible campus presence including evenings and weekends as needed.

Manages a program and improves student programs, services, and retention. Performs budgetary and grant functions. Manages daily office operations and operations for select services. Markets programs and services, presents workshops, and develops policies and procedures. Facilitates new student programming.
Essential Functions
Duties:
• Lead and grow co-curricular programming, student organizations, and large-scale campus events including New Student Orientation and Welcome Week.
• Advise the Student Activities Council and Student Government Association, supporting student leaders in building a vibrant campus community.
• Oversee Greek Life initiatives, including recruitment, leadership development, risk management, and academic success programming.
• Use data and engagement tools to assess student involvement, establish learning outcomes, and drive continuous improvement in campus life.
• Serve as a collaborative campus partner and key representative of Student Affairs on university committees and initiatives.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree is preferred in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related field.
• Five years of professional experience in Student Affairs or Higher Education Administration.
• Strong understanding of student success including current issues, trends, and the ability to proactively respond to a wide array of student needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, planning, reasoning, organizational, and project management skills.
• Experience working with student leaders.
Physical Effort
Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Hiring Range: $55,000 - $61,999 - based on qualifications
