About This Position
We are seeking energetic and reliable professionals to join our Scheduling Team as a Scheduling Coordinator. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting Site Area Managers and employees with their individual and clinic schedules as well as managing their time off. Our Scheduling Coordinators work to improve staffing by scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting for a fast paced and growing Urgent Care. Other clerical and administrative tasks performed as required. The employee emulates the ideals set forth in the Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care Mission Statement.

The Scheduling Coordinator’s duties shall include, but not be limited to:
- Developing and maintaining scheduling information
- Work closely with the Scheduling Manager to ensure data is accurate and useful
- Ensures scheduling issues or changes are addressed in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and appropriate documentation of all changes and communication with Managers and Clinical staff
- Manage all Clinical schedules in ADP and assists with Provider Schedules
- Manage Time off Approval/Denials
- Schedule all float Schedules
- Effectively manage Solv Scheduling based on staffing
- Work closely with Site Area Managers to obtain additional staff coverage as needed

Work Environment
This job is a telecommuting/ work from home position and operates in a virtual environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The hours of work and days vary and may include nights, alternating weekends and holidays.
Travel
Some out of the area travel may be expected to attend training and or meetings.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma is required
- 2 years’ experience preferred
- Reliable internet and computer access.
- Private uninterrupted workspace required
Required Skills
- Strong Functional analytical skills (budgeting, costing, etc.)
- Strong Forecasting ability
- Ability to create well organized, accurate, and concise material and work documentation for
- organizational use. Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, and Access with the ability to create and maintain data bases.
- Strong hands on knowledge of work force management tools and the ability to maintain them
