We have a temporary need for aFinance Compliance Manager tomanage the daily financial compliance activities and functions for the company. Activities include ensuring compliance with business tax, registrations, insurances, and other related functions.This position is needed for approximately one year.
Main Responsibilities:
Own the completion of, and establishment of process and procedures for tracking, maintaining, and ensuring completion of the following compliance functions:
- Business license renewal and filings
- State and local personal property taxes
- Federal and state fuel and excise tax filings
- Management of Property and Apartment lease documentation
Business contact for compliance related requests from corporate offices.
Other related functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, business administration or a related field, from an accredited university.
- 7+ years ofrelated experience in a large company setting, interactions with internal and external customers, and communicating data and performance measurements to top management. Additionally, 3+ years in a manager role.
- Management and supervisory skills.
- Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly accurate math and accounting skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to provide input to strategic decisions that affect the business.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or CMA.
- Masters degree.
