The Account Director is the lead for our clients, responsible for building trusted relationships, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, and driving growth through strategic marketing campaigns and new opportunities. While the role has a strong focus on digital marketing performance, it also provides senior client leadership across Brand Revolution’s wider capabilities including Studio, Events, and Creative Services.This is a commercially driven role focused on delivering measurable, scalable growth. Account Directors help shape client strategies, unlock opportunities within enterprise organisations, and partner across internal teams to develop and deliver bold, insight-led solutions.They also lead and inspire a high-performing account team, providing direction, support, and oversight. The role balances day-to-day delivery with long-term growth, ensuring clients see clear value from every project while strengthening the agency’s commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Leadership & Growth

● Act as the senior day-to-day lead for key client accounts, building trusted relationships and consistently exceeding expectations.

● Lead client conversations around prioritisation, budget allocation, performance, and long-term planning.

● Identify opportunities for expansion within accounts, shaping proposals and selling in new campaigns and services.

● Ensure high client satisfaction and retention by delivering work that is insight-led, outcome-focused and consistently high quality.

● Be a clear, confident communicator across client presentations, written communications, internal updates and cross-team leadership.

Digital Marketing Strategy, Performance & Optimisation

● Lead the development and delivery of integrated digital marketing strategies that support client objectives and drive measurable growth.

● Oversee multi-channel digital campaigns across paid media, social, email/CRM, LinkedIn outreach and content, ensuring activity is

aligned to commercial goals.

● Work closely with specialists (Paid Media, Social, Content, CRM) and external partners to deliver digital programmes that are on time, on

budget and outcome-focused.

● Oversee performance measurement and reporting, including KPIs, attribution approaches and ROI reporting, ensuring clients clearly

understand results and next actions.

● Present confident performance updates focused on insights, learning and optimisation opportunities.

● Drive a culture of continuous optimisation and accountability, adapting strategy based on performance data and campaign learnings.

● Ensure digital marketing investment supports pipeline generation, revenue impact and long-term account growth where applicable.

Campaign & Programme Oversight

● Oversee the development and execution of large-scale marketing programmes, including strategy, creative, events, media, and digital

campaigns.

● Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

● Provide strategic direction throughout the lifecycle of each campaign, from planning and pitch through to execution and reporting.

● Develop and manage detailed project documents and presentations, including SOWs, timelines, budgets, and reconciliation reports, to

maintain clarity and efficiency.

● Monitor and evaluate performance, producing clear insights and recommendations to optimise future work.

Team Leadership & Development

● Lead, manage, and develop a high performing account team, ensuring they are supported, motivated, and delivering at their best.

● Set clear expectations and priorities, providing regular feedback and coaching to support professional growth.

● Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that balances creativity, efficiency, and commercial discipline.

● Ensure the team consistently demonstrates strong client service and strategic thinking in every interaction.

Commercial & Financial Management

● Maintain responsibility for account profitability, ensuring accurate forecasting, clear scopes of work, and disciplined budget

management.

● Report on account performance and contribute to overall revenue planning.

● Balance commercial objectives with client needs, ensuring sustainable growth for both the agency and the client.

Agency Contribution & Market Insight

● Share market knowledge and client insight to help shape service offerings and strengthen competitive positioning.

● Collaborate across departments, Creative, Production, Media, and Strategy to ensure integrated and effective delivery.

● Represent the agency in client forums, pitches, and industry settings as a ambassador.

● Support wider agency initiatives, contributing to culture, innovation, and commercial performance.

The Account Director is expected to demonstrate strong commercial awareness, effective leadership, and a clear understanding of the agency and

marketing landscape. The role is accountable for managing client relationships, leading and developing teams, overseeing the delivery of complex

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, speak, and hear with aid, see, read, reach with arms and hands, and use a computer, and telephone.
  • This position will require continuous viewing of a computer screen and sitting for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 3 hours at a time.
