About the Role
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient clinic in Vestavia, AL. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care in a collaborative, supportive team environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care
- Provide evidence-based, patient-centered treatment in outpatient settings
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, therapists, and clinical staff
- Participate in weekend call obligation approximately one weekend per month
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold clinical best practices
- Monday – Friday outpatient clinic schedule
- Weekend call (phone/coverage rotation)

Requirements: Qualifications- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (PMHNP)
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Eligible for licensure in Alabama
- Strong skills in psychiatric assessment, psychopharmacology, and outpatient care preferred
Prior experience in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting
- Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology for advanced practice nurses.
- Must possess the following concepts: individual and family psychotherapy, psychiatric-mental health nursing across the lifespan, advanced assessment in psychiatric-mental health nursing and psychopharmacology.
