Job Overview

- Salary/Pay Rate: $90,000 $115,000 base salary ($100,743 $138,434 total compensation including bonuses).

The Opportunity You will serve as the primary on-site leader, taking full ownership of a branded hotel remodel from mobilization through final brand inspection. This role grants you the autonomy to drive execution and the responsibility to maintain the high standards of trust and quality that RCL Development Inc. is known for.

- Enforce OSHA standards and site-specific safety protocols without exception
- Maintain strict PPE compliance across all trades
- Conduct daily inspections of ladders, scaffolding, cords, and lifts
- Lead safety efforts by example and accountability
- Coordinate safety requirements with ownership and brand representatives
- On or Ahead of Schedule
- Maintain and update 2- and 3-week look-ahead schedules
- Coordinate labor, materials, and inspections proactively
- Identify and resolve delays before they impact progress
- Drive subcontractor performance to meet production targets
- Ensure all work aligns with brand-mandated deadlines
- Quality Control
- Maintain deep knowledge of drawings, specifications, and brand standards
- Inspect all trade work daily for compliance and quality
- Identify and correct deficiencies early to avoid rework
- Verify layout, level, plumb, square, and finish quality
- Ensure all work meets brand expectations before inspections
- Client & Brand Satisfaction
- Maintain a professional and organized jobsite environment
- Communicate respectfully with ownership, brand reps, and design teams
- Present solutions, not problems, to the Project Manager
- Deliver work correctly the first time to avoid delays and rework
- Ensure the site reflects the standards expected by institutional clients

- Directed all day-to-day field operations and subcontractor trades to ensure project milestones are met on or ahead of schedule.
- Maintained a zero-compromise safety culture by enforcing OSHA standards and conducting daily jobsite safety inspections.
- Evaluated the quality of trade work daily to ensure strict compliance with architectural drawings, specifications, and brand standards.
- Coordinated 2- and 3-week look-ahead schedules to proactively manage labor, materials, and municipal inspections.
- Resolved real-time technical and logistical conflicts on-site to prevent project delays and ensure budget accountability.
- Developed comprehensive daily logs and progress reports using Buildertrend to provide full transparency to ownership and project managers.
- Facilitated professional communication between architects, design teams, and brand representatives to ensure design intent is achieved.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience serving as a Lead Superintendent in the commercial construction sector.
- Proven expertise in reading and interpreting complex commercial drawings, specifications, and Florida building codes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously while maintaining strict production targets.
- Proficiency in utilizing construction management software, specifically Buildertrend or similar platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for managing field documentation and client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Specific experience leading hospitality projects or branded hotel remodels.
- Advanced knowledge of brand-specific quality assurance (QA) walkthroughs and third-party inspection processes.
- Demonstrated history of successful project closeouts within the Gulf Coast region.
