Senior Global Operations Manager at Jobgether – United States

In this role, you will drive operational excellence across a complex, global portfolio of projects, ensuring systems, processes, and execution frameworks scale effectively. You will sit at the intersection of strategy and operations, translating high-level priorities into structured, actionable workflows across regions and teams. This position requires navigating diverse environments, aligning stakeholders, and building systems that enable consistency and performance at scale. You will play a critical role in strengthening governance, improving visibility into project performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Working in a mission-driven and globally distributed environment, you will help ensure that operations remain efficient, adaptable, and impactful as the organization grows.

• Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and recurring challenges across a global project portfolio, addressing root causes
• Design and implement scalable processes, frameworks, and tools to improve consistency and execution across regions
• Establish governance structures and operating rhythms to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Maintain a portfolio-level view of performance, using data and KPIs to monitor progress, risks, and resource allocation
• Lead planning cycles, progress reviews, and decision checkpoints to ensure alignment and accountability
• Collaborate with functional leaders to define meaningful metrics and improve visibility into project health
• Drive adoption of new systems, processes, and tools while ensuring alignment with operational realities
• Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
• Track commitments, ensure follow-through, and escalate risks or blockers when necessary

• 8–12+ years of experience in operations, portfolio management, or execution roles within complex, project-based environments
• Proven experience building and scaling operational systems in high-growth or evolving organizations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define, interpret, and act on performance metrics
• Experience designing systems that operate across multiple geographies and diverse stakeholder environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity to execution and adoption
• Familiarity with AI or automation tools to enhance operational efficiency
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• High ownership mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through
