About This Position
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior OpenText Archive Center Migration Consultant (SAP ArchiveLink) in United States.
This role focuses on leading complex, large-scale enterprise content migration initiatives within SAP-integrated environments. You will be responsible for planning and executing end-to-end migrations of OpenText Archive Center platforms, ensuring data integrity, system continuity, and minimal operational disruption. The position requires deep technical expertise in OpenText ecosystems, SAP ArchiveLink integration, and enterprise data migration strategies. You will work in highly complex environments involving terabyte-scale data, legacy system transitions, and tightly governed compliance requirements. Acting as both a technical lead and migration architect, you will define migration strategies, oversee execution, and ensure successful cutover and stabilization. This is a hands-on consulting role with high visibility and direct impact on critical enterprise content systems.
In this role, you will lead the full lifecycle of OpenText Archive Center migrations, from assessment and planning through execution, validation, and post-migration support. You will ensure seamless transition of enterprise archive systems while maintaining performance, security, and data integrity across SAP-integrated landscapes.
- Lead end-to-end migration of OpenText Archive Center environments from version 21.4 to 25.4
- Conduct migration planning, system assessments, and analysis of existing OpenText landscapes and dependencies
- Define migration strategies (side-by-side or in-place) and identify technical risks and mitigation approaches
- Design and configure target environments, including Archive Center installation and OpenText Directory Services (OTDS)
- Manage migration of large-scale (TB-level) data, including archive content, metadata, and indexing structures
- Ensure SAP ArchiveLink integration is correctly configured (OAC0, OAC3, document types, HTTP content server validation)
- Execute cutover planning, including system freeze, delta synchronization, and go-live transitions
- Perform end-to-end testing and validation of archived data access, new archiving, ILM policies, and system performance
- Oversee post-migration stabilization, performance tuning, and legacy system decommissioning
- Support OTDS migration for authentication, users, and roles
This role requires strong hands-on expertise in OpenText Archive Center migrations and SAP integration environments, along with the ability to lead complex technical initiatives independently. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge with strong analytical and execution skills in enterprise-scale environments.
