Job Description
Position Title: Housekeeping/Care Partner
Department: Clairmont Place
Reports to: Building Operations Director
Summary:
This position is responsible for cleaning resident’s apartments and common areas, disposing of trash, and notifying management of any resident and/or maintenance issues. This position requires lifting of a minimum of 50 pounds or more and have an eye for cleanliness. This position will also provide personal care to include direct care to the residents and perform related tasks. This care will be given in accordance with the plan of care assigned by the Clinical Director and/or Resident Care Coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program (must be in good standing)
- Must successfully clear a background check/ fingerprinting, TB skin test or x-ray, and health screening
- training provided by the Rules and Regulations of the Georgia Safety Fire Commissioner
- Ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Work well unsupervised.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more.
- Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
- Organize residents’ apartments and common areas when necessary.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Clean and stock restrooms.
- Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Notify managers of necessary repairs.
- Collect and dispose of trash.
- Assist residents when necessary.
- Keep residents’ apartments and storage/supply closet stocked.
- Properly clean upholstered furniture.
- Duties as assigned by Montclair’s Clinical Director and/or Resident Care Coordinator

- Detail-oriented and thorough.
- Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
- Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
Education and Experience:
- Education sufficient to read, write, and speak as needed for the job.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds at times.
