Building Maintenance Associate at FUELTECH USA LLC – Ball Ground, Georgia

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Building Maintenance Associate to keep our entire building spotless and well-organized. You'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order across the shop floor, warehouse, offices, restrooms, breakroom, and common areas. This role is essential to keeping our team productive and our workspace safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the shop floor, warehouse, and production areas daily — sweep, mop, degrease, and ensure all workstations are tidy and hazard-free
• Clean offices, conference rooms, breakroom, restrooms, and reception area (vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash)
• Organize, monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and soap dispensers
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (changing light bulbs, touch-up painting, tightening fixtures)
• Support setup/teardown for shipping/receiving as needed
• Report any facility issues, safety hazards, or equipment needing repair to management
• Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines, particularly in shop/production areas

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in custodial, janitorial, or facilities maintenance work
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety data sheets (SDS)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Basic English communication skills required

Preferred:

• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or shop environment
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
• Basic handyman/maintenance skills
