Developer Relations Community Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Developer Relations Community Manager in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of developer advocacy, technical content creation, and community building within a fast-scaling AI infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for shaping how a large global developer audience engages with a cutting-edge platform used to build and deploy AI systems at scale. The position combines hands-on technical work with strategic community leadership, requiring you to actively create tutorials, demos, and integrations while also building and managing a high-growth developer community. You will serve as both a public-facing technical voice and an internal bridge between developers, product, and engineering teams. The environment is highly autonomous, remote-first, and fast-paced, with a strong focus on measurable impact and developer success. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in technical storytelling, open-source ecosystems, and community-led growth. Your work will directly influence product adoption, developer experience, and long-term ecosystem expansion.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the developer relations strategy, defining programs and initiatives that drive adoption, engagement, and advocacy within the developer ecosystem
  • Create high-quality technical content including tutorials, sample applications, integrations, benchmarks, and demo workflows
  • Build and maintain reference architectures and open-source examples showcasing platform capabilities across AI/ML use cases
  • Represent the organization at conferences, meetups, and industry events through talks, workshops, and technical presentations
  • Engage with the broader AI/ML ecosystem by collaborating with open-source communities and framework maintainers
  • Develop relationships with creators, influencers, and technical educators to expand reach and support content amplification
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align technical storytelling with launches and strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to documentation and developer experience improvements, identifying gaps and enhancing onboarding flows
  • Own community operations across platforms such as Discord, GitHub Discussions, Reddit, and other developer channels
  • Build and manage community programs including ambassador initiatives, events, hackathons, and engagement campaigns
  • Monitor and synthesize community feedback into structured insights for product, engineering, and leadership teams
  • Establish and scale community governance, moderation systems, and onboarding processes
  • Track and report on DevRel and community metrics including engagement, adoption, and sentiment trends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Community Management, or hybrid technical-facing roles
  • Strong coding ability (Python required; additional languages such as TypeScript, Go, or Rust are a plus)
  • Proven experience creating impactful technical content such as blogs, tutorials, demos, or conference talks
  • Deep understanding of the AI/ML ecosystem, including frameworks like PyTorch, Hugging Face, vLLM, and deployment workflows
  • Strong experience managing large developer communities, ideally 10K+ members on platforms like Discord
  • Ability to build community programs from scratch with measurable adoption and engagement outcomes
  • Confident public speaker with experience presenting at technical events or conferences
  • Excellent written communication skills, able to switch between technical depth and business-level synthesis
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with open-source ecosystems and developer tooling is highly preferred
  • Comfortable operating in a remote-first, high-autonomy environment
  • Strong interest or experience in AI infrastructure, cloud platforms, or developer tools

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range between $130,000 and $170,000 USD
  • Equity participation in a high-growth AI infrastructure company
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Flexible PTO policy to support work-life balance
  • Fully remote-first environment with global collaboration
  • $1,200 home office and equipment stipend
  • Learning and development budget to support continuous growth
  • Inclusive, diverse, and innovation-driven team culture
  • Opportunity to shape developer ecosystems at large scale
  • High autonomy with ownership over DevRel and community strategy.
