Position: System Administrator

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, CO (Onsite Work)

Clearance: Active Top Secret

Certification: Any IAT Level II

Core Responsibilities

• System Setup & Configuration

• Install and configure software, hardware, and virtual networks

• Set up user accounts and workstations

• Manage network servers and technology tools

• Maintenance & Monitoring

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

• Ensure systems run efficiently and securely

• Apply patches and updates to operating systems and applications

• Manage Licenses and CAs

• Support & Documentation

• Provide technical support to users and resolve IT-related issues

• Create and maintain internal documentation, manuals, and IT policies

• Train staff on new technologies and system usage

• Understand STIG compliance and implementation.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong Knowledge of platforms such as Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux, VMWare, ESXI

• Strong knowledge and background in Cisco virtual machines to include (CUCM, CMS, PCD, CIMC etc.)

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice if you have

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; certifications like MCSA or CompTIA Server+ are a plus.
