We are seeking a Material Handling Laborer for our client site in Newport, RI (Contingent on Award). The successful candidate will have outstanding skills and will be committed to working with others to deliver best-in-class, unparalleled excellence in customer service and satisfaction.

The Material Handling Laborer operates Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for Property Accountability Services (PAS) operations at warehouse facilities. They perform physical material handling including receiving, warehousing, delivery, and packaging operations using forklifts and pallet jacks for SUBSAFE/LEVEL I/DSS-SOC material. This role is crucial for ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time to support military missions and personnel.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform material handling functions
• Load, unload, move, and store materials and equipment
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock control procedures
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as required
• Assist with receiving, inspection, and distribution of materials
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Follow all safety regulations and operational procedures
• Support logistics and warehouse operations as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Possesses current and valid OSHA certification for forklift operator up to 15K lbs. for forklift types, Class I-V and VII.
• One year of demonstrated experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in a warehouse environment.
• Must have Secret Clearance
