Civil Engineer Co-op in Water Modeling for 2026 and 2027

2026/2027 Water Modeling Co-op: Civil Engineering: This is not a “get coffee and file paperwork” type of co-op experience. You will be a billable member of the team doing design work for our clients and learning how to use different design technology and software systems while mentoring under a professional engineer. We work directly with the communities we serve for water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater, Water/wastewater treatment systems, green infrastructure, environmental regulatory programs, and FEMA public assistance and disaster response.

Louisville, KY, Akron, OH and Cleveland, OH offices.

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Interest in working with communities on stream restoration, environmental regulatory program implementation and stormwater permitting.

Interest in Hydrology and Hydraulic analysis, wastewater collection and treatment, green infrastructure, and water distribution.

Interest in civil engineering design and SWMM, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS (both 1D and 2D).

Ability to work on project teams and work individually.
