Position Overview: Laundry Aide

The Laundry Aide plays an essential role in maintaining the comfort and well‑being of our residents by ensuring linens and personal laundry are cleaned, cared for, and delivered with efficiency and attention to detail. This position follows established guidelines and supports both the laundry and housekeeping teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, sort, dry, and fold linens and personal laundry
• Distribute linens and personal laundry throughout the facility in a timely, efficient manner
• Operate commercial washing and drying equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain the Laundry Room in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition
• Assist in locating missing personal laundry items
• Monitor and maintain laundry equipment in proper working condition
• Maintain adequate inventory of laundry supplies
• Support housekeeping aides with cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
• Conduct safety inspections within assigned areas
• Remove and properly dispose of waste
