As a Maintenance Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring that all equipment and facilities operate efficiently and reliably. Through proactive maintenance and quick response to issues, you help minimize downtime, extend the lifespan of machinery, and prevent costly repairs. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety contribute to a well-organized, compliant, and productive work environment. Ultimately, your work supports smooth daily operations and the overall success of the site.

• Provide support to various engineering departments to ensure smooth operations and timely task completion
• Carry out day-to-day general repair works and maintain common areas to ensure facilities remain in good working order
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems and plant areas, including cleaning and routine maintenance
• Clear and organize work areas involving the movement of furniture, parts, or equipment using appropriate handling equipment
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of internal events, including moving and arranging furniture and equipment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of repairs, maintenance activities, and housekeeping schedules
• Ensure engineering and maintenance areas are maintained in line with 5S standards
• Follow all health and safety regulations and practices to maintain a safe working environment

Required:

• Secondary level of education or commensurate experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role
• Forklift driving license (training provided by the company if required)
• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, 5S methodology, and continuous improvement practices
• Ability to carry out general repairs, maintenance tasks, and equipment handling safely
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements

Preferred:

• Valid driving license
• Electrical authorization A license
