Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to support the U.S. Marine Corps Training & Education Command (TECOM), Range and Training Area Management (RTAM) program at Headquarters. This is a data-driven, administrative role focused on program tracking, data management, and enterprise-level coordination. The ideal candidate will serve as a central hub for RTAM data, ensuring information is accurate, standardized, and ready for use in Marine Corps systems, while supporting leadership with clear reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Excel-based trackers and standardized data templates
- Structure and validate data for entry into DoD systems (DPAS, GCSS-MC)
- Track program status, timelines, and asset accountability across multiple locations
- Develop reports, summaries, and data visualizations for leadership decision-making
- Provide administrative oversight of inventory and property accountability processes
- Prepare documentation for:
- DRMO disposal
- Government Acceptance Testing
- Custodian Asset Reports (CAR)
- Monitor FLIPL timelines and ensure compliance with policy requirements
- Serve as liaison between HQ and field locations including:
- Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton
- Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune
- Marine Corps Base Hawaii
- Marine Corps Air Station Yuma
- Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms
- Marine Corps Base Camp Butler
- Consolidate and standardize data across all supported sites
- Support analytical efforts related to training systems and program requirements
Qualifications
Required
- U.S. Citizen
- Driver’s License required
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or higher in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred)
- 3+ years experience in logistics, supply, data analysis, or program support
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, formulas, data structuring)
- Experience with property accountability or DoD processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to prepare and present technical reports, SOPs, and briefings
Preferred
- Experience with Marine Corps systems (GTS/VTS, DPAS, GCSS-MC)
- Knowledge of MCO 4400.201
- Experience supporting multi-site or enterprise programs
- Experience conducting inventories and inspections
- Experience with RFMSS (or similar scheduling systems)
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
Security Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED
- Favorable National Agency Check (NAC)
- Favorable Personnel Security Investigation (PSI) (or open/accepted)
- Eligibility for Common Access Card (CAC)
- Clearance eligibility per DD-254
Work Environment
- Based at Marine Corps Base Quantico, in office and in the field
- High-volume data and administrative workload
- Collaboration across multiple locations and time zones
- Occasional travel may be required
