Maintenance Assistant at Anacortes of Cascadia LLC – Anacortes, Washington

This is a full-time position responsible for facility maintenance, groundskeeping, and resident transportation.

Schedule:

• Thursday – Monday
• Primary van driver on Saturdays and Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Carpet cleaning, floor care, landscaping, and general maintenance
• Transport residents via bus/van to appointments and outings
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs to the building and equipment
• Assist with inspections, safety checks, and fire drills
• Maintain facility and grounds in safe, working condition

Requirements:

• Valid driver with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate landscaping and maintenance equipment
• Strong communication skills with residents and staff
• Must meet and clear all state-specific background check requirements prior to working with residents

Experience

• One year experience in building maintenance.
• Six months of experience in long-term care preferred.
