Job Responsibilities

• Listening to audio recordings and accurately transcribing them into written documents.
• Reviewing and editing transcripts for clarity, grammar, and punctuation.
• Ensuring timely delivery of transcriptions to meet project deadlines.
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information contained in audio files.
• Collaborating with team members to address any transcription challenges or discrepancies.
• Staying updated on transcription software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as an audio transcriptionist or similar role.
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills.
• Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Ability to type at least 60 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Familiarity with transcription software and equipment.
• Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other word processing software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in transcription or linguistics is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience with specialized terminology (e.g., medical, legal) is an advantage.
