As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for serving each customer quickly and efficiently with a sincere, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude. Duties of this position include greeting, seating, and cashing out restaurant customers, ensuring a smooth flow of service, and assisting the servers and bartenders as needed. Other duties include but are not limited to, cleaning sections in the dining room as guests leave, transporting dishes to the kitchen, and disposing of trash. A qualified applicant must be at least 18 years old, have good customer contact skills, good communication skills, be able to operate a computer and be able to lift 15 to 30 pounds. The desired candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, people-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain customer focus. Applicants should be able to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
