Housekeeping Worker at RWJBarnabas Health – Somerville, New Jersey

Job Overview:

Support Aides are responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the manager in charge,

They must complete tasks like vacuuming, emptying trashcans, dusting, high dusting, cleaning windows, cleaning, sweeping and mopping patient rooms, bathrooms, nurse s station, hallways, stairs, elevators, floor care projects and room setups as needed,

Qualifications:

Required:

Required to work every other Saturday and Sunday,

Required to work every other Holiday,

Preferred:

Skills: One to two years as housekeeper or service worker preferred,

Command of English,

Physical Functions: Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods,

Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 lbs,

Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requiring special clothing or safety equipment,

Scheduling Requirements

Evening Shift, 2:30Pm - 11:00pm

40 Hours a week
