NP Mechanical Inc., (A 100% employee-owned ESOP) is looking to hire a Plumbing Installer with good work ethics and integrity to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in newly constructed single-family homes.
2. Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
3. Assemble, install, and connect pipes, fittings, and fixtures to water and drainage systems.
4. Conduct inspections and tests of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
5. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems with other building components.
6. Estimate and order materials and fixtures needed for plumbing installations and repairs.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues to ensure optimal system performance.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
9. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
10. Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior plumbers as needed.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in residential plumbing, specifically in new home construction
2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
3. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards
4. Experience with installation of plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures
5. Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems and components
6. Skilled in using plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
8. Strong communication and teamwork abilities
9. Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions
10. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
11. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

Must have the physical ability to lift and carry up to 50lb. objects upstairs and be able to climb ladders. Abel to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as scaffolding and high lift equipment.
