Medical Laboratory Tech, Emergency+Urgentcare at Med Center Health – Bowling Green, Kentucky

Med Center Health is proud to partner with Intuitive Health to bring a new, innovative hybrid emergency and urgent care facility — Med Center Health Emergency + Urgentcare — to Bowling Green, KY. This position will be based within the new Med Center Health Emergency + Urgentcare facility located at 457 Lovers Lane in The Hub.

Position Summary

Performs and reports variety of simple to complex laboratory procedures and tests which involve limited independent judgment and interpretation but which require the use of scientific technique and skills to operate certain sophisticated electronic laboratory equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous Medical Laboratory Technician experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related scientific field required.
• Certification as Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) required within one year from hire or placement.
