Position Summary

This position is for a PART TIME SECURITY OFFICER for the OVERNIGHT SHIFT. The role operates on a 12-hour overnight schedule, with shifts beginning at 10:00 PM and ending at 10:00 AM.

Inner Valor is seeking professional and observant Security Officers to provide 24/7 forest path surveillance and asset protection at a high-profile, immersive outdoor theatrical event. Officers will be assigned to a 1-mile wooded trail to ensure continuous monitoring, access control, and protection of valuable event assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol the forest path on foot or using a Gator utility vehicle (overnight shift only) to prevent unauthorized access and protect equipment, lighting, and props.

• Deter theft, vandalism, and safety hazards.

• Welcome guests during event hours and maintain a calm, professional presence.

• Support lost child protocols and respond to medical or behavioral incidents.

• Collaborate with onsite medical and production teams when needed.

• Document incidents and observations for reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED

• Valid driver’s license

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and on varied terrain

• Excellent observation, communication, and conflict resolution skills

• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Must pass background check and drug test

Preferred Qualifications:

• PERC card & 20-hour Basic Security Training certification

• First Aid/CPR certification

• Prior event or outdoor security experience

Physical & Mental Requirement:

• Extended outdoor exposure (sun, wind, rain, insects)

• Continuous walking on uneven forest paths

• Ability to stand or patrol for long periods, sometimes overnight

• Clear vision, hearing, and communication skills

• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally
