Education: Associate degree or Certificate in Automotive Technology a plus
Wage: $20-$22 per hour

Position Purpose:
This Detailer is as a key member of our reconditioning team and will work with our internal team to ensure all interior and exterior preparation is completed for Class 8 tractors and trailers. The Detailer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the detailing department.
What You'll Do:
- Performs entry-level work in the inspection, preparation, and detailing.
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Maintain records of time and materials.
- May order shop supplies and parts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Help maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Support journeymen technicians as needed.
- Knowledge of: Methods, techniques for detailing vehicles - wet sand, polish, buff, wax, etc.
- Report all flaws requiring more than normal cleaning or touch-ups to the reconditioning manager immediately.
- Apply preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
- Clean carpets and other surfaces using appropriate cleaners, applicators, and cleaning equipment.
- Continuously learn, share, and implement improvements in all processes and responsibilities as needed to enhance effectiveness of providing world class service and support.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a Vehicle Detailer with technical ability and a great work ethic. Must be a great communicator both oral and written. If you can deliver exceptional quality, are motivated by a great culture, and are a team player, we are interested in speaking with you.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new and innovative industry technologies.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
- Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting.
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals.
Education: Associate degree or Certificate in Automotive Technology a plus
Wage: $20-$22 per hour
