About This Position
Job Summary:
Provides therapy and related services, including group, individual, and couple/family sessions. Completes required medical record documentation corresponding to services. Participates in on-call schedule rotation and assists with on-site duties as needed. Provides crisis management services to patients whenever applicable. Participates in treatment team meetings and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Participates in formulation of treatment and after care plan. Provides formal and/or informal supervision to interns as determined appropriate and needed. Provides community education services as needed. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the needs of the patients served; also demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed. Participates in meeting and trainings as requested.

- Demonstrate the ability to work adequately on a professional team of mental health care providers
- Demonstrate the ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients
- Demonstrate the ability to facilitate group, individual and couple’s counseling
- Demonstrate competence in addressing safety-related concerns and acute care needs, such as completing suicide risk assessments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in completing paperwork and other office duties in a timely manner
- Demonstrate the ability to form professional relationships with referrents and other professionals in the mental health care field.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills when dealing with patients’ family members
- Demonstrate the ability to provide psycho-educational experience for patients.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills
Master degree in social work, psychology, counseling or marriage and family therapy from an
accredited school required.
Work Experience:
At least one year experience in the mental health field preferred.
Certification/Licensure-DUE WITHIN SPECIFIED TIMEFRAMES BELOW
- Licensed to practice in MS as indicated by educational specialty (P-LPC, LMFT-A, LMSW).
Additional Certification/Licensure - Obtained based on required timeframe below
- State Provisional License indicated by educational specialty

- Basic Life Support

- Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) certification and/or partner work training as administratively approved
