RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Pediatric ED RN for RWJ New Brunswick Pediatric Emergency Department,

The Pediatric Emergency Department at The Bristol Myers Squibb Children s Hospital BMSCH at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital RWJUH is staffed 24 hours 7days a week with board-certified pediatric emergency physicians and pediatricians,

We are equipped to treat a wide range of pediatric medical problems for patients from infancy through age 20,

Seventeen large, private treatment rooms, three treatment rooms are specially designed to support patients with behavioral health needs and a sensory room designed to soothe children with autism or special needs,

Qualifications

Required

NJ RN License

At least one-year current Pediatric ED experience

BLS, ACLS & PALS American Heart Association

TNCC

Preferred:

BSN degree

CEN or CPEN

Scheduling Requirements Per Diem Day 7a to 730p

Essential Functions:

The ED RN is a direct patient caregiver for pediatric patients ages 0-21 years old in the ED

Works closely with peers and ED MD's

Provides patient & family education & ongoing communication regarding their care
