Network Engineer

University Health is seeking a Network Engineer with 1–3 years of hands-on networking experience to support and maintain critical enterprise network systems in a large, mission-driven healthcare environment. What You’ll Do

  • Support daily operations of enterprise network environments (LAN/WAN)
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware and software
  • Provide Tier 2 network support and assist with incident resolution
  • Monitor network performance, system alerts, and environmental conditions
  • Support upgrades, implementations, and integrations of network solutions
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on projects and improvements
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical network support

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience supporting network infrastructure in an enterprise environment
  • Working knowledge of network fundamentals (switching, routing, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience troubleshooting network hardware and connectivity issues
  • Familiarity with Cisco or comparable network equipment preferred
  • Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills
  • Healthcare or highly regulated environment experience is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
