Job Description
- Staffing of a 24/7 Help Desk/Call Center as required.
- Serve as the focal point for problem communication from the field, either via telephone or e-mail
- Recommend solutions to field problems within their scope of training and experience
- Report all issues to the appropriate level of management
- Involve engineering support when the issue requires this level of support
- Maintain logs and information systems
- Gather data and provide reporting for improvement opportunity analysis
Skills
- Must be able to obtain a ACTIVE Secret Security clearance
- Prior experience as help desk operator, (may substitute any 2 of the desired traits)
- Ability to work up to 12 hour shifts on a rotating basis
- Ability to work with little supervision and make decisions based upon a flow chart and judgment skills
- Self-motivated, works well alone
- Position is located inside a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
- Must be able to receive data from multiple sources, consolidate the data, and prepare reports
- Proficient in MS Office, including word and excel
- Punctual in both attendance and reporting, makes deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both face-to-face and on the phone
- Past performance with either the AN/TPQ-36, AN/TPQ-37, AN/TPQ-49/50, LCMR and/or AN/TPQ-53 RADARs
- Prior military service
- Training in DoD security practices and procedures
Qualifications/Certifications
- HS Diploma and/or Military Experience with Honorable Discharge, or current National Guard member
