Summary:
The Quality Manager has primary responsibility for implementation and the supporting maintenance of the company's quality management system; reporting on the performance of the quality system for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system. Work with employees, suppliers, and customers to produce quality products that meet or exceed the customer and plant's requirements.
What you will be doing:
- Enforce safety and procedural regulations in accordance with WMC practices.
- Act as a liaison with internal and external parties on matters relating to the quality system.
- Ensure accuracy throughout operations by performing ISO internal auditing.
- Lead Corrective Action Plan development, implementation and follow-up as quality problems occur.
- Perform root-cause analysis.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes.
- Produce statistical reports on quality standards.
- Provide support and maintain compliance with all company guidelines, International Quality Standards (ie familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 17025) and all applicable government regulations and standards.
- Support other departments in the development of job instructions and train/maintain other supervisors/managers on quality related job instructions and procedures.
- Cultivate and expand positive employee morale.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will need to be successful:
- 2+ Years of experience management a QMS
- 2+ Years of experience in a manufacturing environment and/or quality setting.
- Proficient with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 17025
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, Quality Systems, and data base management
- 1-3 Years of experience in plastic resin compounding/recycling preferred
Monday to Friday 7:00 to 3:00 or 8:00 to 4:00
