Patient Experience Specialist

JOB SUMMARY
-
The Patient Experience Specialist is responsible for providing education to Team Members in outpatient clinical settings. This position is a positive, creative, problem solver who helps drive patient experiences to the 99th percentile through various means. This position interacts with and supports team members and Leaders in demonstrating behaviors that will drive best business outcomes.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties:
-
Develops and provides education to Team Members & Leaders related to the Patient Experience
-
Rounds with Team Members and Leaders and gives feedback and suggestions for raising the Press Ganey Scores
-
Leads New Team Member Orientation bi-weekly
-
Looks for process improvements and makes suggestions for improvement
-

EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER REQUIREMENTS
-
Minimum requirement:
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
Excellent communication skills
-
High level of empathy
-
Excellent problem solving skills
-
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years experience working in the healthcare field

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Works indoors in an office/clinic setting

The noise level is usually moderate

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Constantly required to maintain a stationary position behind a computer.

Frequently required to move about inside the department.

Constantly required to communicate telephonically and face to face with colleagues and customers.
