JOB SUMMARY: Promotes and sells PRIDE Dental Laboratory products & services to dental professionals, including dental practices and offices, dental laboratories and corporate health care providers who operate in the correctional and/or community markets. Builds & maintains strong relationships with existing clients. Collaborates with the sales- and operations team to develop new business. Targets, prospects, creates and delivers value propositions and proposals to achieve the revenue growth objectives of the industry. Acts as a liaison between the dental laboratory and clients. Stays current in technical developments in the dental industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
1. Presents and sells dental laboratory products to dentists, dental- offices and laboratories and healthcare providers, both in- and out of state.
2. Develops and maintains strong relationships between existing- and prospective clients.
3. Educates clients on the features, benefits, and applications of dental laboratory products.
4. Identifies specific needs of clients for target marketing of various dental appliances manufactured by PRI Dental Laboratory.
5. Conducts product demonstrations for dental offices and dental laboratories to showcase the value of a business relationship with PRI Dental Laboratory.
6. Develops annual schedule for sales shows, conferences, and meetings for approval by the Vice President of Sales.
7. Reports information from dental meetings, conferences, and sales trips to the Vice President of Sales.
8. Prepares required reports of sales data for the Vice President of Sales and Dental Lab Management.
9. Develops promotional materials, brochures, pamphlets, and request product models and dental appliances.
10. Provides marketing research for specific target market areas, including competitor pricing analysis to maintain a competitive position in the existing market.
11. Develops and builds the digital market share of the PRI Dental Laboratory
Requirements:- Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED. + 2 years Dental knowledge/ equivalent experience. Degree in Sales/Marketing + background in medical/dental sales preferred.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and write documents such as prescriptions, safety regulations, and procedural manuals in English. Must be able to speak in front of large groups of people within the industry. Must be able to communicate with dentist in technical terms.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute numerical formulas necessary for computation of costs comparisons.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and provide explanations to clients, potential clients as daily circumstances my require. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, written and verbal.
- Specialized Knowledge and/or Skill: Knowledge in accounting practices specific to manufacturing industries. Basic understanding of the uses of dental laboratory products including Dentures; Removable Partial Dentures; fixed bridges; crowns; and dentition guards for avoiding wear to the tooth’s enamel surfaces. Ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, CRM and spreadsheet or accounting software required for communication and transfer of accounting and trends tracking data necessary to evaluate potential market trends, and sales fluctuations.
- Other Skills and Abilities: Possess the ability to identify and resolve client issues and concerns. Manage multiple tasks and meet organizational deadlines.
