Rental and Repair Technician at 1155-55H Partners LLC – La Vergne, Tennessee

Lonestar Equipment Solutions is looking for skilled and reliable people to fill our Rental and Repair Technician opening. As a Service Technician you will perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs of equipment in a safe and professional manner while delivering top-notch customer service and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of rental equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis.
• Maintain safe, clean and organized shop environment.
• Ensure repair and routine maintenance schedules are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all safety protocols are met and followed.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• 1-2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment; or trade school graduate
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity.
• Noise level may be loud at times.
• Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
