Nurse Educator at Milford Regional Medical Center – Milford, Massachusetts

Statement of Purpose:

Designs, implements and supports the process of delivering education and training to hospital personnel. The Nurse Educator reports to the Manager of Education, but interacts with all departments throughout the hospital and its satellites.

Qualifications:

Education: BS/BSN required. MS/MSN in Education preferred.

Certification / License:

• Current RN License in Massachusetts
• Current CPR skills
• Current BLS Instructorship is preferred. At times, depending upon current department needs, individual job openings may be posted as required
• Current ACLS Instructorship is preferred. At times, depending upon current department needs, individual job openings may be posted as required
• Current PALS Instructorship is preferred. At times, depending upon current department needs, individual job openings may be posted as required
• Certification in related specialty preferred

Experience:

Minimum 3 years Medical/Surgical experience required. Classroom teaching experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred
