About This Position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler to join our Team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with various tools and equipment. This role involves assembling components and products efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Work on the assembly line, collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
- Fabricate parts as needed to complete assemblies.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the factory or warehouse environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to understand assembly processes
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
- Assembling, wiring, and adjusting precision units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
- Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
- Sets-up and operates a packaging machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Fills, secures, and labels containers according to company, customer and/or regulatory specifications.
- Verifies goods packaged against production work orders.
- Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Required to perform basic data entry.
- Must be able to stand, sit, and/or stoop for the duration of the work day.
- Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- All duties as assigned etc.
- Flexibility, Reliability and dependibility is a must.
- Reports to Assembly Manager.
