Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven UAT Analyst with a strong understanding of the US Mortgage Underwriting domain. The role involves validating system functionality through test scenarios, ensuring end-to-end business processes are accurate, and supporting system enhancements or platform changes with high-quality testing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and underwriting operations to gather UAT requirements.

• Design, develop, and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on underwriting workflows and system requirements.

• Identify and document test scenarios aligned to FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and lender overlays.

• Simulate end-to-end underwriting process scenarios including DU/LP automation, income/asset verification, credit evaluation, and conditions tracking.

• Detect, document, and escalate defects with appropriate severity levels.

• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, test data setup, and UAT sign-offs.

• Track and communicate test progress, risks, and results to stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with QA standards and mortgage industry regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in US Mortgage Underwriting or UAT testing in a mortgage lending environment.

• Strong functional understanding of loan origination systems (LOS), underwriting guidelines, and document workflows.

• Hands-on experience with manual testing in UAT environments; knowledge of Agile or Waterfall methodology.

• Proficiency in test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, ALM, TestRail).

• Familiarity with DU/LP systems and automated underwriting systems (AUS).

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Experience working in a night shift or with US-based clients is preferred
