About This Position
Position Description: This position is responsible for the administration of the campus buildings and grounds.
Principal Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Clean all restrooms (Distribution Center, Mavid / BIG, Glass Fabrication Shop and Office Building).
- Complete trash and recycle removal in all offices and warehouse buildings.
- Cardboard collection, breakdown and disposal.
- Wash retail showroom floors with the correct cleaning supplies and coordinate with the Floorcare Manager for professional cleaning one time per month.
- Transfer deliveries to the correct buildings on a daily basis.
- Return products from the Showroom to the Distribution Center on a daily basis.
- Oversee snow removal. (Snow removal is outsourced)
- Monitor main building entrances, salt as necessary
- Maintain all landscaping including all islands in the parking lot and weeds around company fences.
- Recycle blueprints from the office and warehouse when necessary.
- Maintain the necessary paper products in all company buildings and bathrooms.
- Clean floors of warehouse with cleaning machine as necessary, coordinate with Warehouse Manager.
- Diagnose and correct minor mechanical issues, contact necessary professional contractors as needed for major repairs.
- Identify areas of energy savings throughout all buildings
- Work with Focus on Energy for rebate incentives.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
Other Duties As Assigned: Performs other related duties as assigned including supporting team members in the completion of their work for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the business.
Working Environment: The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.
Conditions of Employment: Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug test. The employee is expected to all adhere to all company policies.
