Production Worker at Freshlunches – Northridge, California

Job Summary:

As a Production Worker you are responsible for the production of food products. The Production worker will rotate through all areas of production ranging from: Line Supply, Pulling Supply, Adding or Filling production line and packaging.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble frozen and fresh food products
• Perform assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures
• Ensure sure that assigned work area is clean and free of hazardous materials
• Ensure that all production deadlines are met
• Monitor equipment to ensure that products are being assembled properly
• Affix labels, and other exterior details to products
• Observe Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
• Ability to maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality
• Basic math skills
• Physical dexterity
• Great attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing
• Exposure to high and/or low temperatures
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required
• Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 30 pounds at a time
