Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Mooresville, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehousing, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. This position requires familiarity with SAP, inventory procedures, labeling systems, and engraving systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Receive, verify, and record incoming shipments
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS)

Shipping & Receiving

  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments accurately and on time
  • Inspect and document the condition of goods upon receipt
  • Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation (e.g., bills of lading)

Order Fulfillment

  • Pick, pack, modify, and stage orders according to customer specifications
  • Ensure orders are complete, correct, and properly labeled

Data Entry & Documentation

  • Enter shipping and receiving data into systems accurately
  • Maintain logs, files, and documentation for audit and tracking

General Warehouse Operations

  • Organize and maintain clean and orderly storage areas
  • Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified)
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits

Communication & Coordination

  • Communicate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams as needed
  • Report inventory shortages, damages, or order issues promptly

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA guidelines
  • Identify and report potential hazards or unsafe practices

Education and Experience

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Additional coursework or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations is a plus

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role preferred
  • Experience with inventory software or warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Fishbowl) is a plus

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic math and computer proficiency
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Forklift certification is a plus

Work Environment

• Routinely required to use standard office equipment.

• Must adhere to company safety policies and wear the required personal protective equipment as needed.

Physical Demands

• Required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to operate office equipment, talk, and hear.

• May occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 50 pounds.

Travel

• Travel will be required on a very minimum basis
