TPL/Posting Specialist at Benefit Recovery Specialists – Houston, Texas

The TPL/Posting Specialist will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions and maintaining ledger accounts. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. The role requires exceptional communication skills, responding to attorney inquiries and providing assistance.

• Post chargebacks in ARMS PRO system
• Perform daily activities of posting electronic payments and all zero pay explanation of benefits (EOBS)
• Daily review of lockbox for deposited checks, ensuring payments are promptly posted in Ledger Posting within a 24-hour timeframe
• Post transactions in Casualty module
• Post manual payments in Ledger Posting
• Review all deposits and transactions on a daily basis, identify issues and/or trends
• Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing monthly posting file
• Composing letters to attorneys, either to request additional information or to confirm the receipt of payments
• Fielding phone calls from attorney’s offices
• Maintaining incoming fax workflow

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to multitask
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
