About the role

We’re looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer with a strong foundation in ReactJS who’s equally comfortable working on the backend. You’ll own features end-to-end from ideation and design feedback through to API development and deployment. Sitting alongside our other senior engineers, designers, and clinical team, you’ll play a key role in building a product that genuinely improves patient care.

This is a full time / hybrid office based role in the Sydney CBD office.

What you'll do

• Build, ship, and improve core product features across the stack
• Work with our team to ideate and prototype new experiences quickly
• Collaborate with our designer to implement polished, high-quality UIs
• Extend and maintain backend services in Node.js and PostgreSQL
• Contribute to product and architecture discussions - we value thoughtful input, not just ticket completion
• Help build a modern, scalable, reliable product as we grow

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full stack engineering experience in a startup or early-stage organisation
• Strong React and frontend skills, with an eye for clean UX and UI
• Comfortable building APIs, working with databases, and deploying services
• Confident working independently and owning features end-to-end
• Pragmatic, curious, and not afraid to figure things out as you go
• Preferably a familiarity with AWS, Postgres, and Node.js
• An interest in health tech or building tools that make a real-world impact
