Quality Engineering Intern at R&T Deposit Solutions – New York, New York

We are seeking a Software Development Engineering Tester Intern to support modern Application Development, data pipelines and automation related to Business Intelligence and Client File Processing Engine,

 The internship offers hands-on experience building and testing data workflows. The intern will work closely with senior engineers to learn software engineering, data processing and AWS cloud technologies.

• Assist in developing Python scripts and simple automation tools

• Support data validation and quality checks in event driven systems

• Help build data ingestion pipelines for analytics and AI use cases

• Create and maintain basic test frameworks under guidance of senior engineers and architects

• Write clean, readable, and well-documented code following team standards

• Contribute to small enhancements to data platform

• Basic to intermediate Python programming

• Exposure to testing AWS data workflow (lambda, glue, step functions)

• Ability to help store data and create simple reporting metrics

• Run predefined SQL queries to verify data accuracy and completeness

• Hands-on experience with data reporting and dashboards

• Support data exchange interface to support inbound/outbound client files

• Explore Python-based reporting or analytics scripts

This is a paid internship. Interns are paid a range of $20-22 per hour. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is a hybrid internship based in Midtown Manhattan. The R&T Internship Program runs from approximately June 1, 2026 through August 7, 2026.
