About This Position
JOB SUMMARY:
The level 1E machine operator is responsible for operating one 12 head embroidery machine and ensuring a high level of quality and production. The machine operator will be considered a level 1E operator until they are fully trained and certified that they are capable to be productive on the embroidery machine. At that point the level 1E machine operator will be moved to a level 1 machine operator and no longer in training.

The level 1E machine operator is responsible for operating one 12 head embroidery machine and ensuring a high level of quality and production. SCHEDULE:
- 3:30 pm – 12:00 am Monday – Friday with Overtime (during the week) as required.

- Meet and exceed production standards
- Meet and exceed quality standards
- Verify product and components are correct
- Prepare product for production
- Prepare machine for production
- Remove excess threads and debris from product
- Remove Pellon from inside of product
- Minor machine maintenance
- Additional duties as assigned
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to perform quality control
- Possess a positive attitude
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to use hands, fingers and arms to touch, handle, pinch or grasp
- Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills
- Ability to walk, bend, reach, kneel and crouch
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed
- Exposure to moderate noise level.
- Close and distance vision
- Color vision
- Ability to thread a needle
- Closed toe footwear is required when entering the Production Floor (as needed).
