Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting in-person clinic visits, including communicating with patients prior to their visit and helping guide patients through the care experience. The Care Team Assistant gathers pertinent medical information from the patient and documents the information into the patient’s medical record. This role also helps to ensure the exam rooms are stocked, equipment and supplies are available and assists with tasks that support the effectiveness and efficiency of the team. The Care Team Assistant may also assist in scheduling and coordinating appointments, preparing schedules, and other delegated duties as assigned.
Compensation
We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is $19.49–$27.51. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
Key Accountabilities

Prepare patients for their appointments, including communicating with patients in advance of their scheduled appointment as needed to ensure medical records are collected, received, and available for visits if applicable.
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum Education: High School graduate or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Proficient with technology
Must be enrolled in NH+C RQI program for BLS certification and complete the requirements within 90 days of enrollment. Must remain current (complete quarterly assignments prior to the end of each calendar quarter).
Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently to ensure safe and effective communication in a healthcare environment.
Initial Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) within six months.
Workplace Violence education in New Employee Orientation and annually thereafter.

Previous work in a healthcare setting
1 year of customer service experience
Medical Terminology
Working with an Electronic Health Record
Schedule
-
Varying Days/Shifts, Monday through Friday
-
4–8 hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
-
Fridays: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
