Accountabilities:
  • Define and execute a long-term design vision that blends advanced technology with a compassionate, user-centered experience
  • Build and scale robust design systems and frameworks that enable engineering teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outputs autonomously
  • Establish design principles and governance models to ensure alignment, accessibility, and safety across all digital touchpoints
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing design organization, fostering growth, collaboration, and strategic thinking
  • Drive the integration of AI and modern tools into the design process to enhance efficiency and innovation
  • Implement research methodologies and data-driven practices to ensure design decisions are grounded in user needs and clinical insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership to unify the overall user experience ecosystem
  • Oversee operational aspects of the design function, including resource planning, budgeting, and prioritization of initiatives

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in product design, including leadership roles in scaling teams and systems
  • Strong expertise in systems thinking, with the ability to design scalable frameworks across complex product ecosystems
  • Proven experience leading design in environments that combine technical complexity with human-centered user experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and modern design tools to improve workflows and product delivery
  • Strong strategic judgment, capable of balancing business objectives, technical constraints, and user safety considerations
  • Experience influencing senior leadership and driving alignment on long-term design strategies
  • Background in healthcare or regulated environments is highly preferred, with knowledge of compliance standards such as HIPAA and accessibility guidelines
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for mission-driven work
