Reporting to the Central Warehouse Supervisor
Location: East Finchley, London

The Role
We are seeking a reliable, safety‑conscious Warehouse Operative to join our operations team. Reporting to the Central Warehouse Supervisor this role involves ensuring the accurate receipt and preparation of stock into the Central Warehouse and back out to store network. The ideal candidate will be organised, physically fit, customer‑focused, and able to work well in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Goods In
• Receive, check, and store incoming goods in accordance with procedures.
• Consistency of inventory put away to allow for ease of subsequent picking and integrity.
• Clear and timely communication of all paperwork, and any related issues to colleagues and suppliers.
• Good Out
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to the store network
• Clear recording of all relevant information on the accompanying delivery paperwork
• Ship all deliveries in line with the agreed schedule
• Ensure relevant communications to stores regarding deliveries
• Stock Integrity & Admin
• Assist with inventory counts, inventory checks, and general warehouse administration.
• Team Working
• Follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
What We're Looking For
Essential
• Previous experience in a warehouse role
• Good understanding of safe manual handling practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to high performance standards.
Desirable
• Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
