PRN NURSE at Prestige Emergency Room, LLC – San Antonio, Texas

Registered Nurse, Nights/Days at very busy Free-standing Emergency rooms.

Summary:

Monitoring patient's condition and assessing their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Observing and interpreting patients' symptoms and communicating them to physicians. Collaborating with physicians and ancillary healthcare staff to devise individualized care plans for patients.

Responsibilities:

Actively involved in the entire patient care process from registration through discharge. Performing all aspects of job duties, including patient care, medication administration, and laboratory proficiency without direct supervision. Employee must have ability to multitask, work well under pressure, have excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of patient care, exceptional time management skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Experience:

Must have CURRENT 2 years experience in an emergency room setting {REQUIRED} within the past 5 years

(Free-standing experience preferred!)

Required

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Current RN licensure in good standing in the state of practice

Evidence of current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (Optional) certifications
